Super tasty schnitzel in very tasty variations with a fresh salad and a delicious soup. In addition, a great boss and only a very friendly service team. The best food and atmosphere in the Upper Harz. It's a shame the restaurant is closing. We will miss it very much.

Spontaneously came in with a total of 6 people. From my experience I could say that it was very good. I was right! The young man in the service was great. The different schnitzel variations were all very good and plentiful. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a little soup which was also very tasty. I highly recommend it!!!

For me, Harz means hiking and eating schnitzel in the brick hut! Just great and my dog ​​also got a delicious sausage! We recommend ;)

We came across the Alte Ziegelhütte by accident on July 11, 2020 after a long hike. I would particularly like to highlight and praise the super friendly and courteous service. The young man who served us definitely deserved a raise! The visit was also rounded off by the really good food. The "normal" portion was huge and even the "smaller" version was a challenge for a normal eater. Since there was a side dish, a salad and a soup from the house in front of the schnitzel, it was simply too much. The man with the big hunger is definitely right here and the woman with the small hunger has lunch for the second day. Quality, price and performance are 100% right. The old brick hut is always worth a stop!

Extremely friendly service. Although we only wanted to eat little things on our hike, we received a delicious soup as a greeting from the kitchen. The currywurst and pancakes tasted great. Together with the view over the mountain meadows, everything was just right. Our dog naturally got something to drink right away.

Very cozy restaurant, quick and very nice, easy service. The price is very reasonable and in the end there was a nightcap on the house and as a starter a soup. The bottom line is highly recommended.

Best Schnitzel ever

We went there last Sunday and it was great, delicious! Soup and salad top as a starter. And the schnitzel we ate, A DREAM !! The service made us laugh a lot although there was a lot to do. Everything was served quickly and at my special request to get mustard for schnitzel was immediately responded to. I can't wait to go back. I give 10 stars
